We use PLASMA RICH in GROWTH FACTOR (PRGF) in many of our treatments in the practice including extractions, implants and facial aesthetics.
This holistic approach means that it’s possible to isolate, concentrate and extract the growth factors with proteins (which are already present in your blood) to repair tissues naturally without using anything external.
Because we use a higher concentration of the healing proteins and growth factors, what we are effectively doing is using your own body to help heal you faster.
We start by drawing blood from you and then putting it into our state of the art centrifuge. This spins the blood, separating it into white blood cells (the plasma) and red blood cells.
The plasma is then formed into a plug which contains all your healing proteins and growth factors. It becomes your own natural healing plug that can help you have a quicker recovery from your procedure.
It can be used in a myriad of ways - eg if we are doing a tooth extraction we can take the tooth out and put the plasma healing plug straight in.
