The Plasma Facelift (PRGF Endoret)

Dr Rajan Sharma is one of a few cosmetic practitioners who is fully trained to carry out this high specification procedure. Thanks to advances in regenerative medicine it is now possible to use the human body’s resources to heal. With this technique it’s possible to isolate, concentrate and extract growth factors with proteins which are present in all blood to repair tissues naturally.

Plasma rich in growth factor enables our proteins to rejuvenate our skin in a completely natural way giving a healthier appearance. There are five key benefits of using this bio-technology to counteract degenerative changes in the skin which ultimately increase the tone and elasticity:

  • Wrinkle reduction – the filler effect achieved through the use of PRGF Endoret technology softens the wrinkles in the treated areas. The facial expression lines lose their depth similar to the way they do on with using dermal fillers.

  • Hydration – ensures a high level of skin hydration compared to levels obtained with other cosmetic treatments and has been proven in clinical trials.

  • Skin luminosity – it makes skin recover the lost luminosity over the years. Patients that have gone through this innovative treatment achieve a higher lustre of the skin.

  • Production of Hyaluronic acid – it stimulates the natural production of Hyaluronic acid.

  • Increased density – promotes the increased secretion of collagen and elastin. This generates a greater density, firmness and reduced sagging in the skin of the patient.

Skin-boosting vitamin treatments

We use products that contain HA (Hyaluronic Acid) mixed with Multi-Vitamins. These are used for facial rejuvenation and help with the following:

  • Corrects skin aging process

  • Reduces fine lines and wrinkles

  • Restores hydration, tonicity and elasticity of the skin

  • Improves radiance

Anti-wrinkle treatment

Our practice uses Botulinum Toxin A in the form of an injectable solution for this treatment which has these effects:

  • It acts as a muscle relaxant, so that the muscles that produce unwelcome wrinkles and creases relax. The skin then returns to a smoother state, reflecting the ‘you’ you once were.

  • Areas on the face that can be treated include frown lines (vertical lines which form between the eyebrows), eyebrows, crow’s feet, forehead lines and lines around the mouth and top lip, known as ‘smoker’s lines’.

  • The injection is quick and painless, usually lasting around 5-10 minutes and requiring no anaesthetic. Results will usually be seen in a few days, sometimes taking between 7-10 days for the effects to be seen.

  • As this is not a permanent treatment, the effects will wear off over time. It is therefore suggested that the procedure be repeated every 4 months for effective results.

Life benefits

  • Reduced facial lines for more youthful appearance.

  • Non-surgical and painless procedure

Dermal filler

Dermal filler treatment is a cosmetic procedure that softens facial lines and wrinkles to make the skin look more youthful. Fillers usually consist of sterile hyaluronic acid gels made from non-animal sources. As we age, the skin’s natural hyaluronic acid is lost, giving rise to the appearance of lines, wrinkles and folds. Fillers are also used for lip enhancement and for shaping facial, hand and neck contours. The treatment process works as follows:

  • Local anaesthetic is first administered to the area to prevent any discomfort

  • The dermal filler is then injected, which only takes a few minutes

  • The effect of the treatment is visible immediately

  • Depending on the area treated, skin type and the injection technique, the filler effect can last between 6 and 12 months (usually six months for lips)

  • Follow-up treatments will help to maintain the softened look over time.

Life benefits

  • Smoothed out skin surface for a more youthful appearance.

  • Non-surgical and painless procedure.
